There was an upset when second-bestSantiago Max (5-4) lost on the road to sixth ranked Bonao (2-6) 74-70 on Saturday. Franklyn Jaquez notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Franklin Sabater supported him with 10 points and 7 assists. Even 20 points by forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota) did not help to save the game for Santiago Max . Yormi Almonte added 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bonao and five Santiago Max players scored in double figures. Bonao moved-up to fifth place. Loser Santiago Max keeps the second position with four games lost.
